Sherbet & Champagne Cocktail

With Valentines just a day away, I thought it would be a nice idea to share a great cocktail to share with your partner on VDay.

This recipe was obtained from the domestic diva, non other than Martha Stewart. You can find the recipe at Martha Stewart Living.

  1. STEP 1

Scoop sorbet into a champagne flute. Fill with chilled Champagne or Prosecco; stir.

That's it! Drink & enjoy with your loved one!!⭕️❌⭕️❌

Valentines Day Printable

Valentines Day Printable

Just in case, you need a last minute idea for your kiddos, here is one of my favorite FREE printables for Valentine’s Day!

The theme says it all... "out of all the fish in the sea, I choose you!” I love these treat labels that I found on the blog, Every Day Cheer. I know you will love them! You can go here to get the FREE printable!
Cute and simple DIY are my favorites. When the outcome is adorable and the project is not time consuming, it's a win-win  situation for all!
I thought to use this for Chase to give to his friends on Valentine’s Day was a perfect idea. Also, it doesn’t involve candy which is a huge plus…hooray! I’m sure his friends’ parents will be thrilled about that too. I know I would be! Anywho, who doesn’t love a cute and easy DIY?!
Here's how to make your own.

• Card Stock
• Construction paper
• Scissors
• Hole Puncher
• Ribbon (I used Baker's twine)
• Mini bags of Goldfish crackers
The steps:
1. Download the printable here. Open the printable in Adobe Acrobat (free program) and print template.
2. Print your circles on sticker paper and then cut them out.

3. While your sticker sheets are printing, use your large circle punch and cut out as many card-stock circles as you need.
4. Once you have cut out all of your stickers, stick them onto your card-stock circles.
5. After your stickers are on the card-stock, take your hole punch and punch a hole on each side of the circle. I punched my holes on the same line as “in the sea” on the sticker to keep them in line. They do NOT need to be perfect. Perfection is overrated.
6. Take your ribbon and wrap it around your goldfish bag and pull it up through each hole. Then pull and wrap the ribbon back around the back and tie in a knot and you are finished!

Valentines Gift Ideas

Valentines is just around the corner. It's literally next week, can you believe it? Well this year I have just a few cute, yet practical items on my wish list. Truth be told I really don't need anything. However, I'm offering some ideas (hint-hint).

Without further adieu here they are:

1. Anthropologie Peony Portrait Cake Stand

I've been eyeing this cute masterpiece in store for a while. I was pleasantly surprised when I received it as an early V-Day gift. It's such a practical gift for the domestic Diva. I love the floral print and the mix of colors. I'm sure it will fit nicely in the kitchen for display or for some occasional baked goods or two.

2. Coach Legacy tassel key fob

Really cute. I love this tassel. They come in every color. They are wonderful to hang with a matching handbag, or a contrasting colour to add interest to any accessory item.

3. Kate Spade iPad case

More than meets the iPad, this canvas and leather Kate Spade New York case is so out to lunch. This is an essential item that showcases the epitome of class. A great gift for the techie in mind.

4. MAC- Girl About Town Ampilfied Creme Lipstick

For the girl who has everything and beauty in mind. This color is amazing. It's one of MAC's best sellers. This creme lipstick (or available in lipglass) is the prefect pink hue. It's a pigmented fushia and the sheen imparts the perfect colour.

Well that's it. Just a few great pieces. Available at very reasonable price points. I can't wait to see what Cupid has in store this year.

What's on your wish list for Valentines this year? I'd love to hear.
